Data the calculator and forms touch

• Everything you pick in the calculator, procedure scope, anesthesia, surgeon tier, ZIP code, stays inside your browser. None of it reaches our servers.
• The contact form works differently: your name, email address, and message get sent to us so we can write back.
• Like most sites, we also pick up routine technical details, browser, device type, rough location, and which pages got viewed, automatically through cookies and our analytics tool.

How ads work here

Google and its partner network serve the ads on this site, and they use cookies to decide what to show you based on where you have browsed before, on this site and others. Turn off ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or check the roster of participating vendors at aboutads.info.

What analytics tells us

Google Analytics shows us, in aggregate, which pages actually get read, and that is how we decide what to fix or write next. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on stops that specific tracking if you would rather not be counted.

Where your information goes

Nothing submitted here gets sold. It is shared only with the handful of vendors that keep the site functioning, our analytics tool, our ad network, and the service that delivers contact-form messages, and only so each can do that specific job. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to reply and to keep a basic record.
