Two people are behind what you read on this site, and they do different jobs. One researches and writes the guides. The other sets the standards those guides have to meet and does not write them.

Naomi Foster

Contributing Writer, Healthcare. Naomi writes the cost guides on this site: what blepharoplasty runs, what drives the price, how insurance and Medicare treat functional cases, and what recovery actually looks like week to week. She is a healthcare cost writer, not a surgeon, nurse, or other clinician, and nothing she writes is a substitute for a consultation with a licensed provider. Her job is to translate published data, such as American Society of Plastic Surgeons fee statistics, and typical market pricing into ranges a reader can act on, and to flag clearly where a claim needs a doctor's judgment instead of a number. She has covered healthcare and cosmetic-procedure pricing for Encore Editorial's network of cost-guide sites.

Chris Terry

Founder and Editor. Chris founded Blepharoplasty Cost and the wider Encore Editorial network of cost-guide sites, and sets the editorial standards every guide is checked against before it publishes. Chris does not write or byline the procedure guides on this site; that work belongs to Naomi. His role is oversight: sourcing discipline, correcting errors readers flag, and keeping the calculator's assumptions honest.

How we handle bylines

Every cost guide on this site carries Naomi Foster's byline because she wrote it. We do not publish guides under a house name or a fabricated "medical review board."
